LASIG is the Learner Autonomy Special Interest Group of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL). We promote the development of learner autonomy by exploring how to put learners in charge of their own learning.
Upcoming Events:
The IATEFL Learner Autonomy SIG Pre-Conference Event 2025 will take place on April 7, 2025, in Edinburgh, Scotland. Titled "Implementing Language Learner Autonomy – What, Why and How," the event includes plenary sessions by experts David Little and Leni Dam, and interactive workshops designed to immerse participants in autonomous learning strategies.
