Looking to become a member of a close-knit, international community promoting learner autonomy? Become a member. LASIG membership entails: being part of an active network of educators and researchers around the world promoting the idea of autonomy, working with colleagues in a wide range of educational and cultural contexts, receiving our newsletter, Autonomy.
LASIG regularly organises both face-to-face and online events. Throughout the year, there are local conferences in different cities as well as regular webinars with well-known practitioners of learner autonomy. In addition, a highlight for many English teachers is the IATEFL annual conference, where LASIG hosts a pre-conference event and a SIG day dedicated to showcasing.
